Molecular diagnostics is a branch of laboratory medicine that involves the analysis of genetic material (DNA/RNA) to diagnose diseases, detect pathogens, identify genetic variations, and guide personalized treatment approaches.

How accurate are molecular diagnostic tests?

Molecular diagnostic tests are highly accurate and reliable. However, the accuracy can vary depending on the specific test being performed. Our lab follows stringent quality control measures and uses state-of-the-art technologies to ensure the highest level of accuracy and precision in our results. Our tests are at least 95% Sensitive and Specific.

How long does it take to get test results?

Turnaround time for test results can vary depending on the complexity of the test and the volume of samples being processed. Generally, our lab strives to provide timely results and most test results are reported Ë‚ 24 hours after receipt of the specimen.  Innoterix TAT (turnaround times) are posted on our company website.

How should samples be collected and transported?

Proper sample collection and transportation are crucial for accurate results. We provide detailed guidelines for sample collection, including the type of sample required (e.g., blood, tissue, urine, saliva, etc.) and the recommended collection methods. Additionally, we provide specific instructions for sample transportation to maintain sample integrity during transit.  This information can be found in our Client Services Manual listed under Resources in our company website.

Do you accept insurance for payment?

Currently Innoterix is a Client Bill/Direct Bill company.

Can I request specific tests that are not listed on your website?

Absolutely! We understand that every patient has unique needs. If you require a specific molecular diagnostic test that is not listed on our website please reach out to our lab, and we will evaluate the possibility of accommodating your request.
